THE STORY
Billy is a naughty 1 boy who has been told to stay at home and read his English book
“Goldilocks & the 3 Bears”. But he disobeys 2 his parents 3 and escapes into the wood 4 to look
for brown bears 5. There Billy finds a little house 6. It is empty 7 and the door 8 is open. He
goes inside and looks around. Like Goldilocks, he eats 9 the food 10 on the table, then goes
upstairs to the bedrooms and falls asleep 11 in one of the beds 12.
Of course, the bears return home. Daddy and Mummy Bear see that some-one has
been in the kitchen 13. Daddy Bear is afraid 14 and Mummy calls the police. Then she and
Daddy look for 15 their son, Teddy Bear, who is still playing 16 in the wood.
Teddy comes home before his parents. He discovers a little boy sleeping in his bed. Billy
wakes up 17 and sees Teddy. “I don’t understand”, says Billy. “This isn’t Baby Bear like the one
in the story; it’s too big 18!” Yes, Teddy Bear is BIG and he is going to teach Billy a new and
important lesson…
Luckily, they become friends 19. Later Billy discovers that there is, in fact, a Baby Bear in
the house.... not just one, but THREE, making the bear family a family of six.

Billy es un niño travieso que se ve obligado a quedarse en casa y leer un libro en inglés:
“Goldilocks & the 3 Bears”. Sin embargo, desobedece a sus padres y se escapa al bosque
cercano en busca de osos pardos. Allí encuentra una casita vacía y decide entrar sin permiso.
Y, como Goldilocks, se come la comida dejada en la mesa y duerme en una de las camas.
Pronto, los osos regresan a casa. El Oso Papá y la Osa Mamá sospechan que hay
alguien en la casa. El Papá tiene miedo y la Mamá llama a la policía. Luego, se van para recoger
su hijo Teddy quién sigue jugando en el bosque.
Pero Teddy llega antes y descubre el niño en su cama. Cuando Billy se despierta y ve a
Teddy, exclama: “No lo entiendo: este no es el pequeño osito del cuento- ¡ Es muy grande !”
Sí, Teddy es grande… y Billy está a punto de aprender una nueva e importante lección…
Afortunadamente, Billy y Teddy se convierten en amigos, y es cuando Billy descubre
que efectivamente, hay un osito pequeño en la casa; y no sólo uno, sino TRES…
